anyways, last night I unlocked the nuke. I thought to myself, I might as well try, so I turn on harrier, chopper gunner, nuke.

well, 20-0 later, I was the giddiest person ever. obviously I ran out of ammo before I got a new gun and died. and the fact it was on terminal didn't help since everyone hid indoors after I killed them the first time with the gunner.

regardless, has anyone noticed that the game almost caters for you when you turn on the nuke? I felt like I was getting the cheapest kills ever. or was it a placebo effect - where I just played better just because.

Give it another go using Scavenger. You should try using claymores with that too. You can just hold out a room until 7 kills and your laughing from there on out. You can even use the claymores to protect you when you're using the chopper gunner. HBS isn't a bad option either, its always nice to know someone is coming when you're camping it out.

I've gotten 2 from camping & 2 without... Camping is suggested, not necessary. But I do think they cater to you. I was running around high rise getting ridiculous double kills with an AA12. Then when my chopper gunner came, It just hovered in the same spot & spawned them in front of the window. My team was all on that same side to & it never changed their spawn. & before anyone comments on me only having 4 nukes. I only play a couple hours a week @ my bro's & its super hard to get into a groove when you have to pass the controller every 3 deaths.

I watched my kdr go from a 1.2 to a .8 in about a month, and the game is funner now than it ever was before. as soon as I stopped caring, it became a blast.

I actually have 50+ nukes if you count the non-legit ones I got with all the hacked lobbies on xbox. Infinite noob tube & Infinite 105mm on AC-130 makes for an easy nuke.

Dude whenever i turn on the nuke i will get a 6 kill streak and the game spawns someone right behind me and they kill me. nuke is bad luck man i tell ya. ive gotten 7 so far but i prestiged so i didnt get the emblem.

yea haha you should keep trying.... try camping on hardcore hq.... earier or run and gun on domination.... just put on ninja pro and cold blooded..... gotten 9 nukes myself so far....

I got everyone of mine on domination.
ACR+red dot+claymore+scavenger pro+hardline pro+ninja pro ftw!

the ACR has literally become my favorite gun over night.

thanks for the tips guys. I might try again tonight, gonna change my killstreak first, then go back to the nuke set up.. maybe I'll get lucky, haha.

It's most likely just a placebo effect. The other possibility is that since you have nuke on, you play harder and try to do better.
