I have seen threads where you use 'PS3 Proxy' to block the SSL connection from the Patch server. I guess it works but it wont be as efficient as my method. My method still uses a proxy, but it does things diffrently creating a simpler and easyer process. This should be able to block patches for ALL games. But i created it around Modern Warfare 2.
Why Release?
This tool was a request from one of my other threads. So i decided to make it.

How To Use
1. Enter your PS3's Network settings, Leave EVERYTHING appart from the option where it ask's for a Proxy Server. Press X on 'Use Proxy' and enter the IP my program shows and the port. (You can change the port)
2. Click [START] on my program.
3. You should be at the point where your PS3 wants you to Test the Connection. Do It! The Test should be successful.
4. Delete the patch you want to block, [Game Data] (e.g: Modern Warfare 1.07)
5. Load up the game and you shouldn't be asked to update.

Open up CMD, type in 'ipconfig' without the quotes (as seen above).
In the screenshot i have put a red rectangle around an IP '192.168.0.13'. On your screen it will be diffrent. So instead of using the IP my program tells you, Use the IP YOU SEE in CMD after typing in 'ipconfig'. Also, try changing the port in the program and use that port in the PS3 proxy settings too.
If you get signed-out just sign back in.

I do have a life that doesnt involve to replying to EVERY post when a few pages back in the thread someone has written a solution.
I also dont have every router in the world so i can test if it works on them all...
I have just read a post asking what CMD is, now if they Googled "Windows CMD" they will find the answer. But instead they want me to tell them when i dont have the time too.

ok so i tried this last night as i sed, and it kept signing me out 1 second after i signed in, only wen i played cod, on the normal ps3 home were u change ur connections and the rest of the crap, it let me stay online . . ..
this is what i did, download ur proxy pressed start (somehow had my i.p adress already :O)
went to ps3, changed the settings to 8080 and my i.p
it let me sign in but wen i started cod, it signed me out soooooo many times so bassicly i cudnt ven click find a game (it happend in a second)
am i doing anything wrong ???
i know how to use other ps3 proxy i used it many times on cod 4 so .. . please help

ok i tried the complete process again from scratch and i get signed out every minute and i CANT join any games not even from friends online
i can only play provate, i no it works coz i used the model and it shoots further and has bigger noise bu i can play NO games wat so ever with friends or online
PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE HELP ! . . . . . . i think u wud get round about 10k rep if u made it so that it NEVER signs u out and wprks properly coz half the ppl on tis forum dont wanna try it coz there too lazy and thin it wont work, but once word gets out ull have tonnes of rep
