(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); What's up guys it's me Waffle-Killer, I'm new to this site and forum and I thought this would be a good way to contribute to the MW2 community. If you follow this guide I guarantee you will get a Nuke. Remember getting a Nuke requires camping yes, but this isn't (camp in a corner with a shotgun camping) No, this is camping except YOU'RE looking for targets. Not waiting for people to fall between your crosshairs.

Hiding spots and General Tactics
My friend is lending me his capture card, so I will be making a full video commentary on the hiding spots and spawn points in each map. It will be up as soon as possible. :P

I'll start off with the kill streaks.

How to get a Nuke

Killstreaks

Most people would tell you to put-

Harrier
ChopperGunner
Nuke

And I must say this build isn't bad and would work well for most of the Nukes one might get. But incase you guys haven't noticed people are starting to shoot down air support, and I find myself getting ChopperGunner and having it shot down before I even entered the map. For this reason I recommend AC130 for a few maps.

Harrier
AC130
Nuke

Use this build for maps such as, Afghan, Wasteland, Terminal and Estate. In these maps the AC130 is dominant.

Perks

When I'm going for a nuke I have a few do's and don'ts.

I've gotten over 16 nukes and I use the pretty much the same build for each of them.

1) Scavenger, good for getting multiple claymores and never running out of nades or ammo.

2) I HIGHLY, HIGHLY do NOT recommend using Scrambler. When using scrambler even if someone passes you while you're in a kill streak they WILL try to find where you are. Since scrambler gives hints to the enemy when they're getting closer to you.

3) Cold-Blooded I USE THIS EVERY TIME I GO FOR A NUKE. Many people use Hardline and I think that, that's a complete waste. Hardline is 1 kill my friends 1 kill.. 1 kill isn't hard, and trust me with out Cold-Blooded you're vulnerable to UAV's, Air Support, Thermal, Centuries and the most annoying of all.. PREDATOR MISSILES. Not only that but if you have Cold-Blooded Pro if an enemy comes across you, your red name will not show up. Making them less likely to shoot.

4) Ninja, not a must but HIGHLY recommended, trust me you do not know how many people are out there with heartbeat sensors. Silent footsteps is a big bonus as well.

5) One man army, this is an alternative to Scavenger. When you're getting a Nuke you will not be rushing, but instead you will be camping, I know.. I know but this camping isn't like camp in a corner with a shot gun camping. Instead this is the camping in which you are looking for targets.

Now let me explain why OMA is useful when attempting to get a Nuke. You can switch classes to get more Claymores, but an even better reason for it is a sniper class. Since you will be doing camping pulling out an EBR with a silencer is great in some cases. I don't recommend using this unless you have OMA Pro, or you're good at no-scoping. (Remember OMA replaces secondaries. That means no Shotguns...)

Weapons

The best weapon for getting a nuke is the FAL. It's the only weapon in the game that does not gain power from using stopping power. Making it perfect for the Cold-Blooded, Ninja combo.

The FAMAS and M16 are the second best weapons to use since they are 1 burst kills without stopping power.

A couple other "good" weapons to use.

AUG HBAR (with out silencer)

UMP (silenced)

Attactments

I recommend~

Silencers
Rifle Grenades
Shotgun (if you're not using a shotgun as a secondary)

I DO NOT recommend~

Heartbeat sensors
Thermal

If they're not listed then they should be fine. I say no to heartbeat sensors because you will be focusing more on that little screen then to whats actually going on, and it makes you more tempted to kill that guy around the corner that's on your screen.

Secondaries

Shotguns, shotguns and more shotguns. If you're going for a nuke I highly advise you use a shotgun. I do not recommend ANYONE use the Model 1887's, Spas-12 or the Ranger. These shot guns are like a gamble, Miss and die. I defiantly recommend the AA-12, Striker or my favorite the M1014. Remember USE YOUR SHOTGUN.

If you think a guy is coming PULL IT OUT. If you saw a guy coming PULL IT OUT. Trust me having your shotgun out will ensure you get the upper-hand.

The last thing I want to talk about are the Maps.

Maps

Get to know the maps, get to know the hot spots and the camping spots. Here are the difficulty levels on getting a Nuke on that map.

* Favela- Easy~Medium

* Afghan- Medium

* Highrise- Medium~Difficult

* Estate- Easy~Medium

* Rust- Difficult

* Derail- Easy~Medium

* Invasion- Medium

* Karachi- Easy~Medium

* Quarry- Easy~Medium

* Rundown- Easy

* Scrapyard- Medium~Difficult

* Skidrow- Difficult

* Sub Base- Easy~Medium

* Terminal- Easy~ Medium

* Underpass- Medium

* Wasteland- Easy~Medium

If you guys want I can post my best hiding spots for each map along with where to plant claymores and where to get the kills. Post a comment if you would like to see that. Happy

Game Modes

I usually get my nukes on Domination. And here's why. In Domination there is an objective, people are trying to capture points, and kills don't effect the score. I'd Avoid TDM and Ground war since those game modes are either overpopulated making it harder to survive, or FULL of f--king campers. So yea.. Domination would defiantly be the easiest.

Happy General Tips Happy

1) Be aware of your surroundings, and listen closely for footstep.

2) Be patient, don't start off raiding their spawn, try to get 7 kills Happy

3) Play it slow, maintain a streak. Always try to start off X-0 that is the score I always aim for. No matter how slow it is.

4) If all you want is a Nuke and nothing else then pick your games wisely. If you join half way try to get 7 kills, if you can't then simply leave. If they constantly shoot down your air support, again simply leave. You will find that lucky match. Smile^

5) Always use Claymores. ALWAYS.

6) When using a weapon that's not silenced make sure you get a kill, DO NOT, I reapeat DO NOT shoot on sight (unless you know he will shot aswell) But shot to kill, if he's two inches away from cover and you spray a whole clip at him chances are, you just given away your position increasing the likelihood of death.

7) Mw2 is a very (easy to kill game) I mean you can be killed in less than .5 of a second. And i'll tell you now ONE thing lies between you and that .5 seconds. Cover. That's right Cover. Cover is the only thing that will determine whether or not you survive.

Cool Man (aka Tustin) Use your special grenades. Trust me if you see a guy, get behind cover and spam those stuns. Or flashes (I prefer flashes). :P

Play tactical as if this were reality... Imagine you only have ONE LIFE.

Have fun and goodluck.

Please post anything you think I should add or edit.

Peace.

Great guide!

By the way, Derail can be quite easy sometimes, some people are too stupid and keep rushing into my camping spot, I keep two claymores out all the time so they either die on the claymore or the explosion alerts me they're coming so I just use the shotgun to kill them before they know what's happening.

Yes I do camp in some maps :P
I don't care if people think it's noobish, I never did.. to me war is about tactics too, and I rather hold a good position than run and gun rambo style (or should I say, leeroy style).

The beauty of this game is that campers can be killed quite easily in most camping spots, unless you're too stupid to figure out how to, so I don't really see what's wrong with camping.

P.S.->About bad luck.. yesterday I was going for a nuke and right when I called the chopper gunner (at 15 kills), a piece of shit called in the EMP, destroying my Chopper before I could even turn around to target the battlefield ><

The FAL with out stopping power only removes one thing, the ability for a 1 hit kill headshot. This is pretty pointless, unless you can get head shots on the FIRST HIT (which I doubt many can do) Stopping power is completely useless. Also regarding the silencer, it does lower the range but it will still be three shot. So a silencer doesn't effect it that much either. :P

P.S I don't know why you would put FMJ, it's the most useless attachment in the game.. Also FMJ is bad on the FAL since the iron sights suck.

I took me FIVE shots to kill someone today with the FAL (with Silencer) at a very long distance with outstopping power.

Ughh that's not possible.. :cool: No matter how far away, the FAL will take a MAXIMUM of 3 shots, with NO stopping power and WITH a silencer. You must have missed..

If you've ever been to Call of Duty Wikia... you can get information from that site about weapons and perks like the FAL's damage compared with stopping power. He got his infromation here. I know this because he told me in person...

Lmao, it's funny how you claim to hear things from me. The Linda incident, and many more. Dude just screw off cause I never told you A THING about my guide to getting nukes in RL. Get your ears check bud cause you're lying is starting to get old.

Btw I got my info from a thing called EXPERIENCE.. And in my full Gun analysis I posted where I got the damages from. And it's not Wikia, i've never even heard of that.. -.-

nice guide good effort, thanked. i disagree with a few things though

if your camping you don't need to use a specific gun whether you have stopping power or not, you see them first so they end up dead. I mainly use the ACR.

scrambler is awesome if you class yourself as a good player, because it draws people to your position and to your claymores, the more people your way the more kills you get. obviously if your an average player don't use it as you won't be able to take people on.

i agree cold blooded is excellent.
