One way to tell if they really are from infinity ward is that if there clan tag is IW then they are. Try changing your clan tag to that and you will not be able to. After talking to him for a while, I convinced him to add me. (cause he had to delete someone on his friends list since it was full). He was just a grpahic designer, but I asked him what he knew about releases for mw2 and this is what he told me:

Infinity Ward is planning to sometime soon introduce the M40A3 into Modern Warfare 2 because of all its support. Also, the first map pack will most likely be a rerendering of the maps from cod4 which they felt would get the most support. He said they are working on it, but he doesnt know if they'll actually stick with the idea.

Some people will probably think I'm lying or he was, but I just want people to know what I was told so that they can be informed too.

On 360 you can easily make IW your clantag with a glitch, and he wouldn't give it to you before the public.

enough with the IW thing, all I know is you cant do it on xbox. And I played with him for hours, and made sre to ask him tough questions to see if he was making it up. He's also tenth prestige, not maxed out and he never played any of the rust free for alls or boosted to my knowledge. The question is no whether hes from infinity ward or not, but it is possible that the things he said might prove to be untrue over time, but that is what is planned for now. Also why would someone making it up say something like, "theyre introducing the M40A3. All I know is that is not what would come to mind for me.

There is a glitch to get your clan tag to say IW on 360. You can do it on PS3 without the glitch. On to your thread, do you have any proof of this "data"? Do you have any proof of this conversation? If not, this thread needs closeing.
