(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I see this a lot on online videos and in game. People call in an emergency air drop just to have most of their packages land out of the map rendering them useless. Here is the best tip regarding this killstreak:

When you throw the smoke grenade for the emergency air drop the direction that the grenade bounces determines the direction that the drop plane comes in from. In other words if you are looking straight ahead, throw the grenade and it bounces to the right the plane will come in from the left.

Now, how to get the packages to land where you want them every time wihtout fail you may ask.

Simple.

Walk to the location you want the first package to land and face the direction you want all of the packages to line up. Look straight down, then slightly up and toss the grenade. 99% of the time the first bounce the grenade makes will be straight ahead since you are looking only slightly up and this will make the supply plane come in from straight behind you lining up all of your packages in a straight line right in front of where you are.

I use this consistently online and the only time it has failed is when I accidentally throw it into a rock or some other object and it bounces back at me, other than that it doesn't fail.

this is a vary good method I use it all the time.

Just another tip regarding EAD. I have the care package, sentry turret and EAD. I run with the care package, until I have all three call in the EAD then the turret set up the turret, take what I want from the EAD and leave the rest for bait. By nature people are greedy and will die over and over trying to get the UAV or w/e I leave. Leave a predator missle and the one kill it will get you becomes five.

Yes it does. Almost all I play is ffa so I get to hear them having fits.

If you have been using air drop I am sure that everyone with a brain would have found this out, but alot of ppl aren't using this killstreak, great post, and a great explanation.

You'd be surprised. I've seen youtube vids even on machinima of people who are supposed to be "masters" at this game (I use that term very loosely lol) and even they toss the grenade at a fence and watch all 4 packages drop out of the map. It's kind of comical actually.
