(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok i have a Sharp 32" and i was wondering what was the best resolution for Modern Warfare 2? The highest my TV resolution can go to is 1080i. So should I use 1080i or 720p?

And how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Technically the 720p has better resolution... Any Interlace tv is not very good. 720p is better.

P.S. the *i* Stands for Interlace.

To let you guys know.

First remember the higher the NUMBER the better. The letter determines everything else.

1080i means 1080 interlaced.
-Interlaced means that half of the picture is on the screen at a time. It is like a fork; the teeth go into eachother every moment they blink. This means that there are really 540p resolution on your screen at the time. That is why the screen tends to shake or blink.

720p means 720 progressive.
-Progressive means that all of the picture is there at every moment on the screen, nothing is blinking. So to conclude that it means that what would you have either 720p or 540p (1080i)? Definitely 720p becuase of 180 more progressive lines on the screen. Don't let the i and p confuse you look it up on the internet too.
