Well i would assume that 1080i is the best...but idk havent played wit 720

A lot of wood! I dont know, i think that progressive would normally be better than 1080i, but I dunno

Okay well 720p is better for more motion so fast paced games, like mw2 etc.
1080i is better for less motion so pictures, films and games like MLB. Hope that helped you

Because my 32 inch Envision can take 1080p but i get graphical lag so i use 720p and it still looks great.

Actually you don't choose anything (except if you went manual).

THe higher the better, remember that.

1080p or 1080i (or any 720i vs 720p) shouldn't be compared for the simple reason that it's not the same thing.

1080p/i means that you have a 1920 x 1080 (1920 horizontal lines and 1080 vertical lines). The p stands for progressive while the i stands for interlaced.

If you have a 1080i source but want to go to the 720p version it's like if I were to offer your $1080 or $720. Which would you take? $1080 if you were intelligent since it's more.

BUT, 1080p's image quality is better then 1080i's.

1080i and 1080p is good for movies and all that

But for games 720p gives you the rich entertainment for colors sharpness,contrast

I find that 1080i stretches things like names in-game (not sure if this is normal lol). I prefer to play on 720p as it looks better imo.
