I know that every other match or so I can get a predator missile which gets me to harrier to cg/ac130, but I can never seem to be able to get to the nuke. I think it's mostly because I can't get to 7 kills without any killstreaks before. I'm also a real lousy camper (don't know how) so if anyone would like to tell me how, that would be nice. How do you guys that get loads of nukes get them so often? I'm 1st prestige level 63 so I think it's kind of sad that I haven't gotten a nuke yet. If anyone can tell me anything about how to get a nuke that would make me get a nuke, I would really appreciate it!!

I thought it was a glitch and they fixed it in one of the patches. I had one the other day and it went towards my killstreak.

A good gun to use is the TAR-21. This is because stopping ower does not effect it very much and it is already very powerful. A good class is this:



A good game mode for getting nukes is domination. I hate saying this, but the best way to get started on getting nukes is to camp hard. Pick a good spot, and set up your claymore at any weak spots. Get a few kills, and if people start rushing you, move when the coast is clear. Once you get your harrier, find a remote spot where no one usually goes, and call it in. From there forward, just stay there and let your air support do the rest for you.

go back to my last post....but everyone is kinda saying the same stuff disregarding peoples opinion on whether to camp or not....but the secondary weapon is really irrelevant with scavenger on unless u wanna camp in close quarters area (then u need shotgun) or you wanna blow up enemy airsupport (then u need anti-aircraft missile lol) or u wanna knife people (pistol with tac knife) or whatever the reason....but essentially, secondary weapon is insignificant, in my opnion

and airsupport does not always get u the chopper gunner or to the nuke...u will most likely have the get to 25 kills w/o air support; on ur own from as early as when u hit the 17 ks due to everyone being in doors or getting ur chopper gunner shot down

I've gotten 19 nukes so far.

Two when i wasn't prestiged yet the layout for those were:

Primary: Scar-H with red dot sight
Secondary: [One Man Army]

Perk 1: One Man Army Pro
Perk 2: Hardline Pro
Perk 3: Scrambler Pro

Killstreaks: Harrier, Chopper Gunner, Nuke


I got 12 on my first Prestige. For those, the layout was:

Primary: Scar-H Silenced/Ump 45 Silenced/ ACR Silenced

Perk 1: Scavenger Pro
Perk 2: Stopping Power Pro
Perk 3: Commando Pro

Killstreaks: Harrier, Chopper Gunner/AC130, Nuke


Then I've gotten 5 nukes this prestige basically using the same layout as above, but with just the ACR (One nuke was with a tactical knife, it was pretty sick. I got it on underpass. Ran around with it and got a quick 7 knife kill streak, called in my harriers, got my chopper, it got shot down and i had to get another 7 kills with just the knife. Most likely the best feeling in my Call of Duty history).

Also, nukes are pretty easy in theory. Just camp in a hotspot and get 7 kills (or do whatever you do best). After that just book it out of there as fast as you can and hide in a well concealed spot and go prone. Let your harriers do the work [or if they get shot down get a couple of pick offs from your hiding spot] and call in your chopper. This should get you the nuke but if it doesn't, I like to just rush them or camp for a few quick kills.

I'd get your 1st nuke legit and boost the rest if you want (my 1st one was legit and my friend who said I'd never get one was there too he was like lol!)

yeah, everyone who seems to get nukes runs harrier, chopper gunner and nuke. Then camps like no other. I've only had one nuke and it was not legit. I keep getting to 24 and then getting killed. went 22-0 today and the f'n match ended.

I hear wasteland is the easiest and thats the only one I have gotten a nuke on. I used silenced scar, and a shotgun. Be first into the tunnels on wasteland and pump them with the shotgun. It seems as though people like to line up in parade form when trying to get in the tunnels/bunker. I do not reccomend the 1887's for this as they take longer to reload between shots.
Hardline Pro and in 6 kills you have Harrier. Run out and to a corner with deep grass to hide in. Let your harrier do the trick and then get on top of the spawn with the chopper gunner. VIOLA! 1 nuke coming up!
