Have you ever been playing MW2 and thought "that's not right, I shot him first!"? While investigating the recent claims, and going through the code of MW2, I made a discovery in one of the subroutines of the game AI. It's called "spfg.exe" (we'll call it SniperFrog since all will make sense just bear with me) and it's an AI subroutine that "evens" out the game by lending additional AI resources to a player, or by limiting the player in really cheap ways.

For example, you ever start playing really good, and suddenly you go on a death streak where you can't even barely MOVE without getting killed? You'll get slaughtered like 5 times in a minute? That's the SniperFrog program in action. Alternately, maybe you'll have been having a rough streak, and suddenly you'll go on an amazing killstreak and it feels like you can't do anything wrong? Again, SniperFrog.

The SniperFrog program is meant to "even" out the game. So that ALL players can feel like they're awesome at some points, even if that has to come at the expense of other players doing poorly. It's a plan by IW to sell more copies of the game. You CAN disable SniperFrog by going offline, SniperFrog is dependent on it's concious AI mainframe to work and it's only available online.

its probabley just lag but there is quite a bit of bullshit that goes on in this game. but anyway heres what happens to me.

Getting killed by my own harrier strike multiple times.

Having a whole team spawn right beside me JUST as i get my harriers.

Having a whole team spawn behind me with a 10 killstreak.

Getting a good killstreak then dying and get spawn killed 3 or 4 times in a row.

Firing 4 stinger missles at a ****ing harrier and having ALL of my missles disappearing in mid-flight.

I dont think IW would put something like this into their games. it would make it horrible.

I am not saying what he is saying is true.

But it is not impossible games have used things similar to this in the past.
The idea seems insane for mw2 but I have been thinking on this alot since I initially read this post.

It would not be that difficult to do since it only governs a few aspects so it would not have to take into account things such as perks & what not as I read one poster on another forum name as a reason this is impossible.

It would only need to cover damage taken & shot detection, Spawn location, your kd that game (hence the reason you do good or bad then do the opposite.
If a program just monitored and altered these it could do all things the alleged spfg one is said to do.

But the #1 reason Im 99%sure this is bs is it would have to be on every game & would pick the top player and the weakest(could be same team don't matter) and do what its said to do. But I like many have played numerous game with out having any problems which means it would be a random thing and not always select the best & worst player or be used that game at all.

That would be to chaotic & I don't think IW would put such a system in the game but it is possible.

Id like to call BS , but when I look at the score board around me , some how all the KDR's are pretty even.

I also have alot of friends that play this game, and I'll go watch them play and they SUCK, like bad, like they should all have a .50 kd .. then I'll go home, join a game with them, get my face raped off (and I'm a sponsored player) and they will be 20-0.

I think its possible, but that kind of programming would be so complex and I'm sure there would be far more info available about it.
