Played a round like this last night and was called a camper by the other team. I camped for only a two kills when I was close to calling in my 2nd AC-130 in the match.

So why is it that you must have been a camper when you have a good round?

ive been called a camper about twice by actuall campers lol, im always running to this guy coz hes so shit he goes to the same spot everytime he dies and after killing him 20times in a match he calls me a camper lool

and the other guy called me a camper when after the match i got a accolade 'longest distance travelled' and he got 'most time spent in one place', calls me a camper lol

there should be a 'game dictionary' for people like this guy

The way I see it, there are 2 types of camping, one is acceptable, the other is shunned upon. The first, staying in the same spot and actually hunting down the enemies instead of waiting. The second is just sitting on a hallway with a shotgun waiting for enemies to come.

typhoon, you're right. I mute a lot of the time. I just think its funny when you have a good game... you're a camper

So what if you camp, the object of the game is too get kills to rank up etc... I also don't understand why people complain about campers because if they are camping and killing you and obviously racking up the kills shouldn't you just follow they're example and rack up the kills?

Unless you were sitting in a tent eating smores you weren't camping. The politically correct terms are "playing tactically" or "sitting in a corner whilst aiming down your sights".

I agree, I don't mind the people who are actively looking for enemies while being stationary but those who just guard a door or hallway with their sights waiting for somebody to pass by is what irritates me. Then again I just stay away from that area or find a way to kill them.

i usually dont hear this kind of crap because when i get into a lobby a mute everybody cause there is always a noob whos crying in his mic. By the way i always camp for 2-3 kills when im close to my chopper gunner ..
