Scorcher since you feel the need to correct other people, allow me to do the same. The word you were searching for was sideways not sideward you can go forward or backwards I don't even know WTF sideward is. Also how do you get your throwing knife to bounce? Mine sticks where I throw it.

Back on topic my favorite kill cam is always the classic, stop behind a person camping, double crouch for effect, stab and try to squeeze in a quick tea bag.^

I had a throwing knife game winning kill in HighRise. On the killcam though there was 3 kills, I had my USP .45 with FMJ on...shot down two people (one through the other) as they were coming out of the hallway, sidesteped and reloaded. I knew the next guy was one of the speedsters (marathon pro, lightweight pro, commando pro) with a tactical knife....I had a throwing, so I readied it, looked down the hallway and threw and nailed him right in the forehead. It was a thing of beauty to have 3 kills in a game-winning killcam.


The other came in Karachi, jumping off the highest building and hipfired a rocket into that little tunnel section to nail someone for the game winning kill. He died before I hit the ground, so I didn't die and get a suicide death.

And since someone mentioned a predator missle, I had to give this one honorable mention.

It wasn't a game winner, but definately fun. Those little tiny windows in the back side of estate, I drove a predator missle into and got a 6 person kill. TAKE THAT CAMPERS! How I hit all 6 is a mystery...I must have landed it just right in the doorway between the top of the stairs and the bedroom...because they were in that bedroom, the bathroom, on the stairs and above the kitchen.

PS. Did anyone ever get a Double kill with one throwing knife.. That would be Siik
Oh, and the throwing knife can ricochet (Bounce) off the ground... I think it's when the handle of the knife hits the ground on direct impact, most likely cause.
The knife would stick to whatever the blade hit? :p

Really James? I have never had that happen, thought perhaps it was one of those hardcore mode things. Maybe I will have to start doing some random throwing knife tosses. God knows I get lucky with the semtex often.

Perhaps it does. Does anyone that uses the spin and throw know if that has an effect.

Well forward is a word, backward is a word, so technically... shouldn't sidewards be a word?

My spellchecker comes up with nothing for sidewards, but it does for sideward, so I'm using the fact my spell checker has nothing against it, as a reason for me using it. And span is a word, so is spun, you can say both, it's just preference.

Span is a word, but i think you're using it in the wrong context. Allow me to elaborate: Scorcher was corrected twice in the SPAN of a couple of hours for using "spun" and "sidewards" (i think it's sideways) probably because he was watching CSPAN.
