(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); is there a certain % chance that a map will come up? or is it all random? i've played less than 10 games total in Rust since it was released when i bought it and i wanna play on that map more

it goes on a revolving chain like rust then something ect but it might just be random after a while

I think each time a new lobby starts it picks a random map. Then from that map it'll pick another random one. It shouldn't repeat any of them though. I know it some how manages to cock up and do it sometimes.

There's most likely a rotation of maps (like most servers have).

Each lobby is in a different rotation
For example ,
Lobby 1 - It is in Favela (5th in the list)
Lobby 2 - It is in Rust (10th in the list)
Lobby 3 - It is in Quarry (7th in the list)

Once you join a new lobby it starts at Number one (they are example numbers above)
And keeps rotating

Sometimes lobbies are merged and that picks a random map

There is a rotation 100% Confirmed. I was i notice it a lot when i am playing.

so if i stayed in the same lobby it'll eventually get to rust after a few maps?

Some game modes dont use Rust

i play team deathmatch almost all the time, and i know rust is one of the maps that can be played with it.
just for info, what gamemode(s) don't play rust?
