Yes the carbine sucked in range . the m4a1 has slightly more recoil to me but its worth the range. The m4a1 also sounds cooler =]

The M4A1 sounds alot better and for me it seems like there is alot more damage when using a RDS compared to CoD4.

I fought they were the same gun, as when you get the 1000 kills with it and get that emblem it says "M4 Carbine"?

There kind of the same, but iw changed thing such as fire rate, lokks, and damage.

I think the m4 carbine in cod4 was way better.
