Post: A little fun with Lag Switches

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Just having a little fun with a lag switch. I got bored so I decided to add the Rockband foot pedal to the switch so that you can use it by yourself during game play. If you want a tutorial, let me know and I'll post one later.

Note: I don't own MW2 but this would be the only forum where a lag switch like this would be helpful for others to see and get ideas.

Nice i think a button is still easy to tap with your foot, that's how i have mine. But still very nice. How did you do it? Can i get picture or whatever of what you have in the blue box?? Do you have it so you let go of the pedal to lag it or hold it down to lag it?

Oh I agree. If I had a button from the start, I wouldn't need to do this. All I had was the light switch and followed a TUT on youtube to make the original lag switch with no pedal.

For the inside, I picked up a 1/8" (headphone) female jack at radio shack. Soldered 2 wires from it to either end of the light switch and drilled a little hole towards the back of the blue box to mount the 1/8" female port.

Right now, it is set so that if you take your foot off the pedal, it starts the lag process. Figured this would be easier since when I'm playing drums, I like to keep my foot down until the note comes.

I'll try to get some pics up later but it really is a basic homemade mod. I'm sure my cousin StickyRicky would love to use it right now.
