My team are about 12 kills up on Mercenary TDM and have been winning by a fair margin for the whole game, and I am 23-8. A player on the other team with about 7-4 managed to get a care package, which gave him an attack helicopter. For no obvious reason, the game CONTINUALLY spawned us out in the open, and this guy ended up getting 14 kills from the heli, and they won the game by 2 kills. Seriously, wtf?

Not just spawning, this guy REALLY didnt deserve a helicopter...

Just think how many people felt like that when you Care-Pack knife them all!

They give away your position on the map, If I hear "enemy care package incoming" I chase down the helicopter and go kill the person and If I can, I'll take their care pack or just camp there and they'll keep coming back for it

you got to think of it this way, unless your really good (or a camper/nuke booster) then chances of getting pave low, chopper gunner/ac-130 are very slim
so Care packages give not so good players chance to get the higher killstreaks, it is fair in a way, but the argument could be said it makes the game even more noob friendly aswell

I disagree, I dont see myself as a good player, my K is hovering about 1, but I get chopper gunner every 4 or 5 games, maybe more.

Whenever I use care packages I always get UAV/Counter UAV. I wish I got as lucky as him, lol.

then maybe you are a good player after all, if ur not camping then alot of it is also down to luck (in regards to spawn points mainly) ive been in very few games lately were people havnt got ks above 6 without camping or being really good
