ive used both and switched between them, the M16 seems to have abit further range in which 1 burst kills.
however i find that i always fire 2 burst anyway, just in case, so the famas has the higher fire rate and i use that, also imo the famas has much better iron sights so a sight is not needed.

also as the famas has a higher fire rate, all 3 of the shots in the burst usually hit, whilst at range the m16 shots can be dodged easily, so 1 may hit and 2 miss, so imo famas is best at range too.

none of them are n00by because you cannot spray and they can be difficult to use in close quarters, however if you get either on target its almost a guaranteed kill.
i must admit getting killed by the famas or m16 is like when you get killed by a shotgun, because you cannot avoid them 95% of the time. so they can be annoying

Famas is better for me. Both can be a 1 burst kill so damage is basicly the same. But the famas is faster and more accurate.

I know what you mean i always have to use red dot on the m16, but the famas i just run around with fmj

I think you ask anyone that's not either in MLG or new and they'll agree w/ me. They're both cheap, over-powered guns.

They're both balanced, because in close-range combat you're screwed. You can't spray n pray like you can with most other guns

I disagree, I used them both when I first unlocked them, they're deadly at close range, basically touch R1 and the dude is dead. They're not balanced at all.

Don't forget that most of the people who play GB and the like are about 12 with voices so high only dogs can get the full sentence.

ive played several MLG's and they are nothing special, ive beaten most of the 1s i came across, why does everyone mention them like they are pros? if i can beat them and im only average, then they cant be that good
