Have you ever been playing MW2 and thought "that's not right, I shot him first!"? Maybe you ambushed an enemy from behind, blasted him with 5 rounds to the chest, and then he spins around shoots you once in the foot, and you die? Everyone blames lag. Well, it's NOT lag. It's something far worse, and it just may signal the end of "fair" gaming forever.

While investigating the recent claims, and going through the code of MW2, somebody made a discovery in one of the subroutines of the game AI. It's called "spfg.exe" (we'll call it SniperFrog since all will make sense just bear with me) and it's an AI subroutine that "evens" out the game by lending additional AI resources to a player, or by limiting the player in really cheap ways.

For example, you ever start playing really good, and suddenly you go on a death streak where you can't even barely MOVE without getting killed? You'll get slaughtered like 5 times in a minute? That's the SniperFrog program in action. Alternately, maybe you'll have been having a rough streak, and suddenly you'll go on an amazing killstreak and it feels like you can't do anything wrong? Again, SniperFrog.

The SniperFrog program is meant to "even" out the game. So that ALL players can feel like they're awesome at some points, even if that has to come at the expense of other players doing poorly. It's a plan by IW to sell more copies of the game. You CAN disable SniperFrog by going offline, SniperFrog is dependent on it's concious AI mainframe to work and it's only available online.

I'm kind of like you. Some days I can go nuts and win a ton of matches in FFA and HCTDM but there are days, like last night for instance, where I get dominated. I went 4-17 in Karachi because I ran into a bunch of campers from Wisconsin. The top 2 guys went 22-0 and 26-7. In Karachi, you don't do that well unless you are camping. I got sooo pissed at this guy (walkenhatesyou) for camping, I was ready to throw my controller. On top of all that, he was sniping too. On highrise, three games before they joined, I went 23-1, then 26-2 on sub base and I had a couple other high scorers. If this Sniperfrog is fo real, it sucks.

today i was playing against noobs and was getting like 45-55 and 1-5 deaths a game, i've p[layed about 7 matches with theme, and than i went to a diffrent game and i was missing all my knife kills and the recoil on my ump was a bit bigger for some reason. It seemed like my commando range reduced by a bit

Who said SF attacks instantly after doing good? Maybe the next time you play you'll end up with a hole through your T.V and a PS3 smashed in two.

because if it didnt it wouldnt be balancing it out for other players, i constantly do good (unless im distracted) so i still by and say its fake, maybe its the fact theres "Curving bullets" and all the rest of the probs on mw2 that someone came out with this idea?

What a load of crap.

You're dying lots? You're playing badly. The game is mechanical, it is very nearly foolproof.

The weak part of it (i.e., what affects your kill/death etc) is the squishy biological mass that's holding the controller.

i think its cause all the camping noobs got MW2 for cristmas or that the pll that suck started to learn the maps

thats a pretty far out there idea but i could see iw doing something like that to drive bigger sales.
