When you first click online, my game comes up connecting to matchmaking server, it then completes this but then goes into the main lobby but comes up Updating playlists( i think), Updating rank and unlocks, and connecting to matchmaking server complete, after about 4-5 minutes it then completes this. Now this is where i encounter problems, I click on find games it then comes up the exact same little box that appeared in the main menu, BUT this does NOT go away it just keeps on saying updating playlists( i think) and no longer progresses into loading up any game lobbies. I dont know if this is a problem with the disc or the online profiles as my cod4 done the exact same but it rectified itself.

any ideas on a way to fix this, and if not i should be able to get a new disc as it is a fault with the game ( once again i think).

all help would be appreciated


as i know quite a few people on this forum are quite filled in with technolology could you give me a way to fix this?

one of my friends friends suggested that its due to a server problem

I just got off the game and had no problems so I'm not sure its a game server issue. Sounds like it might be something with your connection.

Do you have open NAT? Are you connecting wireless or hard wired?

Yer my nat type is open and i run off of wireless

I'm not sure what the solution is... Here is what I would try and see if it helps.

Try power cycling your router and modem. to do this, unplug both of them and count to ten slowly. Plug it back in and try to connect to the game again. While the hardware is power cycling turn off your PS3
