For some unknown reason, whenever I find a game alone, I manage to get a game where there's 1 enemy camping, 2 at max, and they're not even properly camping. By that I mean they're staying in the spot and moving after they get about 5 kills.

However, when I join a party or have other people in my party, I get the same problem as everybody else, half the enemies camping.

Am I lucky?

if u are in a party and use the same tag, people presume your good and camp so they don't get owned.
my clan played a tdm and the other team didn't move from their spawn, just claymored up and camped in the building at the top of invasion, they still got owned

generally though people camp if they think they will do bad or think you have a much better team.
if your party are all high ranks you will get alot of campers.

I never thought of that and it's most likely true,but it never applies to me,I always have campers in every game.

i think camping isnt as bad now as when the game first came out.

i don't think camping is a huge problem anyway really, i mainly play tdm and there are very few campers, unless its a clan then they always camp.

when i play s&d there are some proper hardcore campers, that aim in on doors and sit in a room with a claymore and a shotgun but thats to be expected when you don't respawn and its usually when they are defending anyway.

i think alot of camping has stopped since the release of the patch with localised search.
im from the Uk and before the patch every evening GMT is when all the americans come online and we'd get matched up with them as host and just lag incredibly, the only way to go positive was to camp now we always have green bars so its alot better.

campings just a playstyle, it has strengths and weaknesses just like run and gunning, once a camper kills you, you know where he is, he doesn't know where you are so its easy to nade the camper or flank him.

And I also tend to find more campers in SnD or hardcore game types.

i agree with you, i really rarely see any camping. When i do, its 90% of the time for a nuke.
