(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Im gonna talk a little about claymore because I'm sick of noobs who don't know how to use claymore.

Ok so a Claymore is a motion activated mine, it is very helpful if you are a sniper as it can guide your back. Also claymores can get you lucky random kills which might be essential to get you your killstreak.

Here are a few examples on how to plant claymores. A Claymore should be placed at a 45* angle from the door and the place that you think the enemy would go. If a claymore is placed in front of the entrance there a high possibility that the enemy will notice it or if they are sprinting, they could just run over it and not die. This happens because there is a slight delay between the trigger and the explosion. Also in MW2, the Claymores only explode one way, so if the enemy runs past the claymore, he will not get damed. A good place is to put the claymore in a corner next to a door through the enemy is gonna enter. When its in the corner, the enemy will not notice it.

It is always a good idea to hide your claymores in grass or behing corners, it will always increase a chance of you getting a kill. Not many people use SitRep in this game so if your claymore is hidden, its a guranteed kill.

Scavenger is an essential perk that goes perfectly with claymores. It alowes you to plant multiple claymore so if one blows up, you can quickly replace it and stay safe.

If you wanna avoid getting killed by Claymores, you have to listen. If you hear someone plant a claymore and theres no team mates around you, you must stay caucious and chech every corner before you rush in to get a kill. Also if you hear a click, quickly run to the sides hoping that you will run out of the claymore's range.

See pictures below for How to and not to plant claymores

I don't see any pictures..

And btw I think they get you more than "random lucky kills".. if you know where to place them (especially on certain maps) you can get a ton of kills with them.. for instance in Derail I often get Predator and Harrier with claymores only Happy

I can't believe more people don't use claymores. They get me so many kills its ridiculous. It takes a while to get used to not having a nade, but it's well worth it when you get used to it. With scavenger as well, you can easily hold down a building and pick people off out of the windows. Claymores are the best equipment by a mile, especially as grenades are shite.

The 45 degree thing is not always the best thing to do. You have to take into consideration where they are running from and where they are running too. If they come in at a 45 degree angle to the door they're going to spot it. So sometimes straight in-front is a good idea.

Also when theres a staircase and at the top of it the door is to the right or left just placing it directly in front of the door guarentees a kill.

If placed correctly, you can still get the kill.
