and after watching this vid id like to say snipers blow whale sometimes..

im not sure if its internet connection or something.. my cases are not to extreme it only happens when i quick scope.. my timing isn't off.. i've been quick scoping since forever even with sleight pro and it only happens in mw2

did this prob happen to any of you and if so how could / did you make it better and happen less often

dude i with you on this one im not new to quick scoping either ive been doing it since a little bit in 4 and alot in cod5 mw2 sniping is garbage the guns are garbage the whole game is garbage!

sniping in cod4 was so popular so IW makes a m21 the last gun? that is the most garbage gun in the world same with the wa2000 both for noobs all i want is the m40 the old acogs back and old sniper layout!!!

yeah im with you on that i mean even i don't fail that hard but if you look closely you could see the scope was exactly on him for definitely 2 of the shots and arguably all 4 of the shots

If you're getting shot it makes your shots go miles off. The cross hairs were on him for sure. It's happened to me loads, you're blatantly aiming at somebodies chest and misses completely...

first shot too high
second shot he got shot first and the gun moved up
third shot in the middle of 2 people
last shot unlucky ? lol

This is a constant problem which has been really pissing me off lately....i like this game but I am, in reality, a sniper no matter what and I find myself being forced to have to play COD4 again because of this horrible snipe engine...sometimes its like my bullets just disappear in midair , but they can kill me perfectly. Its so aggravating I really wish they could like patch it, but I know they probably can't make such a huge change through a patch.....its torture

Snipers don't fail.. there are just a bunch of guys that think they are really good with a sniper just because they manage to get kills with them.. most of those kills are just lucky or the enemy didn't see them

In order to be a good sniper you need to have good eyes so if you use glasses... not that you couldn't be a great sniper.. but it's just gonna be kinda hard
[count me out.. but I use lenses]

You need to be very quick and have a quick reaction time.. 1 second of difference can make that one lucky kill for the enemy


Last but not least you just gotta pay attention



Am I qualified to be a sniper.. no..
what do I do? stay away from sniping classes
do I snipe sometimes? yes.. only at Skidrow
and I manage to get a good amount of kills but when I get pissed off I just change to my M16 and let the games begin!

I use the Barrett for when sniping at Skidrow(only map I snipe at)
the Intervention is awesome but I just like the Barrett moar! roar!

You're right for the first 3, the last, I can explain.

I paused the video about a millisecond before he shot, and I can honestly say, the crosshair, although it appeared to have been pointed directly at the enemy, it was pointed at the wall. I screencapped the paused video and zoomed it in. It hit the wall.

8 of my 1st 10 nukes were with sniper rifles

i think snipers are just as good as on any other cod game, the setup of the game is just different, i.e. more buildings, more cover which leads to more camping.

the m40a3 was a nice gun but i preferred the r700 and dragunov(overkill).
snipers still kill the same as in cod4 except this time theres no juggernaut so it should be even easier

you have to adapt how you play and use the right class for your skill level, i have a few people on my list who snipe with the intervention only, and go round quick scoping and thinking they are pro, except they are all average k/d's and crap players.
in a proper sniper 1v1 i destroy them.
i very rarely quick scope either because usually a good sniper will have his secondary weapon out in CQC.
