As you can guess it wasnt any fun for any1 on my team. I see it as a direct violation of TOS (exploit a bug, or make an unauthorized modification, to any software or data to gain unfair advantage in a game , contest, or promotion.). I want to know from the "powers that be" if I am wasting my time filling complaints about "cheating" as these people are exploiting a bug to gain an unfair advantage. I have seen in other cases (boosting) the rules arent applied due to a grey area and I can see it in the case of boosting. However in this case it (care package/EAD glitching) must be a suspedable/bannable offense.
Please tell me that myself and other legit players that are trying to enjoy this pay service are not wasting our time by filling cheating complaints on these people and that "Handlebars" or "The Pro" and other Admins are following up on complaints and view these violations in the same light that I do.

I wouldn't be suprised if you can do the javelin glitch again with the next patch :p
And what kind of extra options have we gotton since the release? Have connection issues improved in any way since the game was released? I fail to see any kind of real enthousiasm from the IW crew to actually DO something, instead of suspending the players that are only defending themselves against armadas of aerial barrages!

I take it you and some other folks around here don't play mmorpgs, do you?
That's called exploiting, because you are exploiting a bug/game flaw/game mechanic to get an unintended result.
In mmorpgs, they ban your account alright for that stuff.
That being said, we all know that Microsoft will ban for these things and Sony won't.
I'm on ps3, I did use the glitch in a few matches and I have to say it's really fun: I only use it in private matches or when I get pissed in real matches (such as vs clans of noobtubers, care package sprinters, care package glitchers and the likes).
I actually had quite an awesome match yesterday: 1 chopper gunner, 2 pavelows, 3 Predator 2 Harrier, 1 attack chopper, 1 turret and 4-5 counter UAV/UAVs.
It looked more like Apocalypse Now than MW2 lol.
That was against a clan of kids spamming tubes and care package running..
Needless to say, I got some hate mail and they all left after the match

I thought I posted in this thread last night, but I guess not.
I know that most of you are kids and don't run a business. IW will not go through and ban people. it's fiscally not probable to put a team of people to go and ban individuals doing this. The man power and resources it would take just doesn't make sense from a business stand point. Additionally if IW bans all the javlin glitchers, prestige hackers and care package throwers they're cutting out a huge number of sales on the DLC they're planning on releasing. It comes down to money people.
Activision and IW don't make video games for our enjoyment to be fair, balanced and entertaining. They make them to have sales. Activision is a public company and they're biggest concern is next quarters EPS (earnings) so they're not looking to "waste" money on banning for these small patchable items.
That being said, if you take down their sever or something major you will be looking at a ban. the small things they'll let go.

To me this just feels like pointing the finger elsewhere and trying to not have to spend recources on dealing with a problem, they are responsible for in the first place.

wtf is this shit? i did the javelin glitch ALL THE TIME and didnt get suspended once. i HIGHLY doubt that they will suspend someone for their mistake in the game...
