Yeah, but they slow you down too much to go anywhere... hence staying inside buildings, setting up a camping area.

The n00b part was directed at how some people expect to never get killed when they are in their camp site

yh true i usually use rifles, but the AUG is excellent on capture the flag when defending, especially with grip theres like no recoil

It has a small clip though... you gotta have good aim for it xD

i don't think they are too underpowered but using a silencer definately shouldn't remove so much damage, its essentially removing stopping power

You have God knows how many bullets and he has one... If you hit him once his aim will go too shit and you've won the fight. You can fire lots of rounds per second he can fire one. Sniping takes a hell of a lot of skill to get decent scores. A lot more skill than running round like a headless chicken with an assault rifle...
