Now the greatest unique selling point of treyarchs games have been the very popular Zombies mode. With zombies being the most anticipated part of map packs, Modern Warfare 3 needs to find a way to beat Treyarchs zombies :y:
Well mw2 spec ops was of a very poor quality and many gamers stuck to online as there was nothing entertaining about it.
Modern warfare 3 is bringing back spec ops and also a new mode called survival.
Survival will be a mix of the Call of Duty zombies and Gears of War’s hoard mode. The Mw3 blog suggests there will be a starter of six maps which are called:
- Carbon
- Dome
- Mission
- Radar
- Seatown
- Survival
- Village
These are likely to be mulitplayer maps but with a twist of working as a team in a seperate multiplayer game mode.
Now unlike zombies, and a lot like some of the Mw2 spec ops missions where you had to fight 4 waves of enemy's, this has been presumed you will be fending of armed enemies rather than zombies, only addition is that they will be shooting back towards you. Zombies has great weapons and great gameplay features such as doors, traps, power ups, now this is all great fun, but how will it be adapted for enemys that will be firing back towards you :confused:
The spec ops game also makes it return and will feature some great missions including civilian rescue. Some already mentioned missions are:
- Flood the Market
- Little Bro’s
- Invisible Threat
- No Fly Zone
- Out of Africa
- Wing Man.
There is something for everyone to do, theres the teamwork of spec ops, the zombie like survival, and the highly anticipated multiplayer.
Modern warfare 3 is really upping its game and to beat Modern Warfare 2 will be a challenge :y:
