I'm pretty sure he is talking about the game itself, as in there are different editions to buy. This would be when you purchase the game it will provide a little something extra with a little bit of a price increase.

I don't think I would purchase another special edition again. Only reason I got hardened for B.O. was for the zombie maps. what does MW3 have to offer?

I'm with Stunna on this, I don't think I am purchasing another $150 PRESTIGE anything. The little remote car from Black Ops is somewhere in the back of the closet probably under the SOAP head & Night Vision goggles. Plus I got two ps3's and by Nov might have an xbox so that's 3 games to buy.
