Yes, you heard right, today Activision revealed to the Wall Street Journal that Modern Warfare 3 will have a paid subscription this fall. Right now you may be wondering whats in this subscription? Well, there will be map packs, tools to analyze personal performance and more. Currently, there is no price revealed, but it's won't cost anymore than Netflix ($7.99 monthly) [/COLOR]

Stansy
Who is Stansy?
As long as paying doesn't give people unfair advantages, like double xp all the time, or better guns I'm fine with it.

I hate subscriptions. Make it a stinkin' 1 time fee at least!
If it's 8 bucks a month people will have paid for more than two of the game over the next year. Its like doubling the price of Xbox live.
This better not give an advantage to anyone, because it would be straight bull if someone could pay extra money to be able to do better than you at a fxking video game.

Yes, I do believe you are correct. I would imagine it costing $1.99 to $2.99 a month. $7.99 wouldn't get the attention of enough players. I do believe it is bull if they are making us pay even more than what we usually dish out for their games..

Game- $60
Map packs- $15 to $30

Total- $75 to $90

Here's a picture you might want to add to the thread instead of the MW3 picture. It was on the Wall Street Journal article.

This means a cheaper game and if it just a website not worth it
Only pay a fee if i get ded servers and have complete control over the game. Stats website should be free.
