with mw3 coming up i was wondering how are going to choose what weapons you will use?
do you go strictly by stats. maybe look for one stat to by high over the rest. or do you pick by some other way.
personally i dont care about stats i pick my weapon based on the way the gun looks and how fun it is to use. for example my cod4 favorite was the mp44, my mw2 favorite was the f2000, and my black ops favorite is the mpl. to me they are all fun and interesting looking guns.[multipage=Set your Page Name ]

I just see what other people are using if they kill me and if they look like theyve got something special goin in a gun i give it ago myself to see how it suits my style of game play, dnt nw if this helps but just my method buddy!
Well until MW2 I didn't care sadly, I was a noob then. I like damage and fire rate since I can manage recoil. I LOVE 3 burst guns. MW2 I used Tar 21, then a little of Mini Uzi then RPD then M16(BEAST). I like Assault Rifles more like most. BO I use G11, AK47, MPL & AUG

that tar was pretty beast. although the ak held its own in mw2. least with a silencer it did.
for the first 3 prestige I usually try different guns out and perks. after that I get the feel for what I think works best and run with it. problem with black ops is damn near everyone use famas and 74U.
as a few others have said its trial and error with me i use the more known guns but when i get bored i''ll use a lesser gun or try a new attachment on black ops at the minute im using uzi/scorpian on small maps and tryin m14 on larger and there both pretty good but barely see them used
