Activisions Contract With Microsoft Has Been Extended Till 2012, And So For PS3 And PC Gamers, Map Packs Will Be Available At Least A Month After The Release For XBox 360 Gamers! But Not Only This, It Means The Call Of Duty After MW3 Will Go By The Same Rules! Its Very, Very Annoying!

I don't really care, I never buy the maps anyways. I just gameshare with my freinds.

Ok i have both consoles...and I really was never bothered about this but now i just think how bad it is having to wait a month for maps :/

I'd rather wait one month for a map pack than pay for online every month!

Im not fussed waiting a month for map packs. I do however get annoyed when the fanboys go "lol, xbox gets it first cause it's the better console"

PS3:

• No physical disk tray, thus less breakable parts

• Supports Bluetooth devices
  
• Features Blu-Ray

360:

• Online fees
  
• Lower quality ejectable disk tray
  
• Requires batteries for it's controllers
  
• Only supports 4 players at a time
  
• Only suppports Microsoft hard drives
  
• Does not support Bluetooth what so ever
  
• Some features that aren't needed. Netflix? My Wii can do that.
  

And on your little comment about the XMB, go develop a console and tell me how it turns out. I can guarantee you wouldn't even be able to replicate the graphics of a N64.

uhh netflix is on all systems. /facepalm

and i love xbox features. Indie games is ****in bad ass if your trying to get a foot in the door for game design. you can even create your own games and play them on there. so maybe you should go get an xbox and see all the features.

that said i have both and love both. i only play ps3 more cuz i like hunting for trophies and had more trophies than achievements.

but back on topic. i wish they would sell the dam zombie maps seperate at least. i'd pay ten bucks just for that and leave the shitty mp maps for 5.

Thank God it will NEVER EVER change. Microsoft buys these contracts to bring in consumers. It's a business tactic. Sony doesn't want to spend money to purchase these contracts. Frankly...with their shitty ass security, I don't think buying exclusivity rights is in their best interest.

The best thing Sony could do right now, is the following:

1.) Start charging for PSN.
2.) Listen to the community to add shit that's needed to compete and keep their customer base...
----Party system LIKE THE XBOX
----CROSS GAME CHAT FROM IN GAMES AND FROM THE XMB/DASHBOARD LIKE THE XBOX
3.) Use funds from fees required to use PSN to beef up security.
4.) Get better ****ing graphics for the XMB.


In the end, keep this in mind PS3 players....YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. We pay to use XBL, therefore we are entitled to get the maps early, have cross game chat, have party system, have stable online experience where douche bags who cheat actually get banned (Thank God Black Ops started this, I can't wait for you PS3 MW3 exploiters to get banned from that game too...), etc.


Don't bitch because Sony doesn't own exclusivity rights. They NEVER EVER will. This I can promise you.

SONY is a great company, did you guys know how much they loss on the fierst year of selling PS3s, on the Ps3 up to date, the earthquake, and the attack they recently suffered.
Microsoft makes a ton from XBL memberships and do you know where that money goes?
waiting a month isnt frustrating at all, just wait, this the only thing XBOX users can brag about with their last gen console.
ALSO you are not entitled to anything, when you accept the Microsofts ToS READ IT first.
Also CoD was on Playstation before xbox. you can say no because it was on pc before but playstation came out and Microsoft needed a new platform.
and anyone can jtag their ps3 and not get banned, PLUS IF YOU DO GET BANNED, YOU CAN GO OUT AND BUY 5 or 6 XBOX's AND DO IT ALL AGAIN.
the 3ds costs more than it, again this proves its shit hardware.
