Of course there should be hitmarkers, its not a shotgun. I hate it when you're playing a game and the whole enemy team is quick scoping, its like them carrying a sniper and a shotgun at the same time. Walk round a corner, BAM dead, cant even raise your gun. A sniper is for long range shots. Thats why you use a sub machine gun at close range. There should be a difference. A sub machine gun should win in a close encounter. An assault rifle should win over a medium range encounter. Yes I like quickscoping every now and then but I dont smash my TV in if I get a few hitmarkers, usually because you're hitting them anywhere below the ribs or in the arms. The game is hardly every realistic as it is, you put about 5 bullets into guys before they die and they're still able to run around before that, thats not realistic.
Its simple, if you dont like hitmarkers go play hardcore. If quickscoping is to come back it needs to be less unrealistic and more balanced. You could learn quickscoping in a day on MW2, how does that take skill. Yes its good fun in Private matches but it can piss you off when some kid with little skill can get some instant kills from a few yards away without bring out his overpowered secondary.
Troll over, but yes it would be good to see it in MW3, but improved, and harder to do, so the montages actually look pro and not totally random.
Well said lol but most of the time when hitmarkers occur are because they are shot in the limbs. Getting a 1 shot 1 kill to the torso is realistic because all of the major organs are in your torso. Haha but some I don't really care about realism when it comes to video games so I'm sticking with SOH and no hitmarkers.
