As you may know, retailers usually provide a bonus when you preorder your games through their stores. I was curious to see what the preorder bonus for Modern Warfare 3 was, as I wanted to see if it was worth preording. Apparently, GameStop has given out a double-sided poster to the first 500,000 preorders. GameStop claims that this poster has "valuable information" to the game. I'm not sure if you can still snag a poster for preordering, as they may be all out, but if you don't want to preorder for a poster but are still curious what that "valuable information" is, check it out.

It's a mock TIME Magazine cover, displaying a ravaged New York with rubble and debris everywhere. The headline reads "World Stands on the Brink," with captions "Tensions rise across Europe," and "Coalition Forces on High Alert as UN Calls Emergency Summit." Not only that, but in the top left corner you will notice pictures of what appears to be Soap and Captain Price, who seem to be referred to as "Interpol's Most Wanted."
The front of the poster is just a silhouette of a Spec Ops with the MW3 logo before him.
What do you guys think? I don't think it's worth a preorder, but who knows, maybe that's not all that will be included as a preorder bonus. Hopefully not. It would be cool to have that mock TIME magazine poster hanging up in my room, though.
