So I've seen people that just because MW3 will have "new maps and new killstreaks, weapons", it will be whole new thing. So this what I think about it, from a true CoD fan, you will know this if you have been playing the CoD franchise (online) since COD4.

The thing is that you dont get the point of what they mean by "samthing every year"
Of course there should be new maps, killstreaks etc...duhh But all that, i've seen it in other games as DLC.

So lets put it like this. So it means you would be playing mw2 for 8 years if they just add lets say, 5 new maps, 3 new weapons, 3 new perks and 3 killstreaks every 6 months? That's what you would call "samething new" when you're still playing the same game with the same lag, bugs, glitches, hacks, same 2006 graphics, same fancy physics etc? Will you call it new?

It is 2011 and still not even resolution is upgraded... Still under 720p. See my point? This is from a person who have been playing the COD franchise (online) since cod4, and Black Ops was my last one. It will still be a good game for those whom just started playing COD (probably since mw2 or BO)

After mw2 I decided to give COD a last chance to see a change and to see something worth the $60. But Black Ops?
Well as always in every trailer or review from Infinity Ward or whatever we will see things like "mw3 will be the greatest CoD" or "mw3 will deliver an experience that no other CoD can offer" and so on... But in the end when you actually play it (not just see the videos) and you realize it has the same issues etc. Activision is just milking the franchise and CoD is getting dumped down.

Now I know that probably I'm gonna get a lot of groans because of this, but admit it, it is the truth. Unless you just started to play COD games, you won't notice this. So anyways what are your thoughts?

if the killstreaks I seen are true then they are taking the fun right out of the game. If I kill 10 - 15 people in a row I want to get something cool and not that lame shit thats been floating around

the game isn't even out yet so how can we compare it to the rest of the series based on 2 trailers and leaked info? yeah you can say "oh the trailers show the games look the same" but you wont be able to compare a game thats out and a game that isn't properly until you play it.

The series isnt just new guns, maps, they went through different times in the past, from COD4, modern times to World at War going back to the world war.

yes i admit they do have similarities, so what? i played mw2 25 days, loved the game, it was so addictive.
I found COD4 addictive and played that a similar amount.
I hated WaW and gave up on that and went back to COD4.

But black ops I hated to begin with, now i actually enjoy playing it.

What im saying is that no matter what mw3 is like, i will play it, not just me, millions of people will play it. If its similar to mw2 so what, its the new COD, so many people criticise it ever year, and pick out constant fails and moan, but yet they brought the game in the first place and will keep playing it :p

who knows.. mw3 might be the greatest game of all time? we really cant judge a game which isn`t out yet

Yea now we have been saying/waiting for that since after cod4. They add too many BS but dont get rid of the things that need to be removed/fixed.

To name a few things they have removed, that shouldnt be...
Gold camos, M40A3 rifle, those were things people loved. yet they continue adding the worst camos, snipers etc... And this is not just About weapons and camos (it is just an example) because we can say the samething about maps, killstreaks, perks even prestiges, and now look at Black Ops leaderboard how retarded is lol. etc...

Maybe for the next gen we see a new and fresh cod4

Agreed with T-Icey. Maybe they should listen to fans more and not just let their "creative thoughts" hurt the game we are spending 60 dollars on.

Ive been playing cod sense the first one when i was like 7 Lol..

MW2 is still fun to me. Maybe it is because I don't spend money on lobbies and use an auto controller. Working on the challenges is the fun for me.
