with each new COD comes new menu music. the menu music is a key part in my opinion, you need a good tune while your waiting for games etc.

Sorry if my opinions on the soundtracks is of poor description, its hard to describe the music :p

COD4

This tune was quite good i thought, fairly basic but nice to listen to while you were making your classes or finding a game. Its quite repeatative at times, but it gives the modern feel to the soundtrack. The main thing is, its not annoying over and time and doesn't distract you from what your doing.

World At War

Now this tune went very well with the theme, its a very airy feel and gives you a certain feeling when you listen to it (hard to describe).
It was a good soundtrack, kinda spooky but it promoted the theme of the game well. Its nothing to distracting.

Modern Warfare 2

Sounds pretty similar to COD4's sound, there are parts which sound almost identical, its just a bit more upbeat. Although its more up beat, its not over doing it and also reflects a modern feel.

Black Ops

This has to be the most upbeat soundtrack for the menu's so far, lots of different tones etc but yet its very catchy, and i often found myself humming along :p unlike world of war it didn't reflect like an older feel, but however its a great soundtrack.

Now onto Modern warfare 3

watching some of the create a class videos, you hear this tune. I for one don't like it. It sounds modern, but i think its to active for me. I would prefer it to be slower and calmer where as this is very loud and active. I could see myself getting annoyed listening to it for hours on end.

in my opinion its COD4! mw2 is also great but cod4 that theme just sound Bad ass! COD4 FTW!

i find mw3 music kinda like when u get to the end of a pokemon game and u get the dramatic effect just b4 u battle the elite 4 hahahaha :p just me 2 cents

i personally dont like menu music because of my tritons but if i had to choose id say mw2 the mw3 menu sounds horrible im not trying to be in a symphony

Is that MW3's actual menu song? Wow, it sucks because it just doesn't fit the game (or at least the part when we're waiting to play on the MP lobby)...

Ok it isn't that bad, just takes some getting used to!

I voted for Black Ops. I like Cod4 and MW2's menu music but BO's is just epic and really gets me pumped!

I mute the music because it is annoying as hell in game!

the mw3 one is too loud, the mw2 one was alright ( if you had mods and selected "fast time" ) and went to party, the soundtrack was beast

world at war had some depressing music. cod4 was the best. rest are ok
