I never really understood aim assist. I mean are you the Terminator? Why does your gun automatically home in on your enemy? Just to emphasize the damage this does to the gameplay. For example, and I'm pretty sure has happened to most of you. How many times have you been in a situation where you're walking randomly only to have your gun lock on to an enemy that’s hiding in a bush? I'm pretty sure this has happened to you before while playing COD. There's no defending aim assist it needs to go.

Doesn't bother me. I don't even notice it. I turn mine off.

They should base it off internet. Sorry but my ping is so high I need aim assist. Either that or they release a cheap option to do mouse and keyboard.

There is nothing wrong with aim assist, Im guessing theres going to be a option to turn it on and off like in black Ops.

Turning it off just puts you at a disadvantage to everyone else, aim assist makes a fairly big difference so im guessing mw3 will have it but with the option if your crazy enough to turn it off.

I believe aim assist should stay. It only locks onto someone if they are really close or if you are aiming really close to them. There are no major advantages or disadvantages of it.
