(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Why oh why can't they just get rid of the annoying aim assist already. It might be the only thing that truly bothers me about call of duty. Every single noob canpick up the game and shoot decent from the very start.
I never really understood aim assist. I mean are you the Terminator? Why does your gun automatically home in on your enemy? Just to emphasize the damage this does to the gameplay. For example, and I'm pretty sure has happened to most of you. How many times have you been in a situation where you're walking randomly only to have your gun lock on to an enemy that’s hiding in a bush? I'm pretty sure this has happened to you before while playing COD. There's no defending aim assist it needs to go.

Its not about being able to turn it off or on, its shouldn't even be possible online imo. Theres needs to be a challenge shooting a person, not playing the game for 5 minutes and already shooting someone with ease.

well hopefully they will have it to where u can have it on or off, cause they have always had aim assist an i doubt they will take it out,. but yeah it was real annoying, like if u were shooting a guy then outta no where another dude walks in front of u and then it starts aiming onto that guy and then the person u were first shooting kills you, the was the worst. but yeah hopefully they have that option to toggle it on or off.

People need this because none of them would be able to quickscope without it Smile

Personally, I find aim assist more of a hindrance. When you are aiming at someone a long ways away, and some scrub walks in front of you and it pulls your sight off pisses me off.

If you hate it, go play PC. No aim assist there.

It doesn`t really bother me as i dont use it and its not even a advantage (IMO) all it does is switch between enemies.. not really a big deal

If there was no aim assist CoD would take so much more skill to play on console. Just go into a private match and turn friendly fire on and try to kill a guy on your team, you'll see that it is noticeable difficult to kill someone without aim assist.

Also it's sticky aim not aim assist, ADSing when looking near someone doesnt lock you on. All sticky aim does is that when you're aiming at someone (whether it be from the hip or ADS) it's harder to pull your sights off the person. You can also test this by standing next to an enemy in a private match and slowly doing a 360 (4-5 sensitivity) you'll know this that when you are looking at him your crosshairs become sticky.
