Don't get at me for copy and pasting. I bought the magazine from a shop not online so I don't really "Right Click, Copy then Paste" .

What is the Elite service anyway?

Elite is a separate program that'll cover your entire Call of Duty career. Split into four sections: Career, Connect, Compete, and Improve, it lets you create groups and clansof like-minded individuals, keeps a stash of all your stats from Black Ops onwards, and helps you analyze your play with graphs and heat maps-which helps improve you game. It also allows access to individual custom classes from any supported platform to make instant changes to weapons and perks from outside the game. Socially speaking, it's essentially COD Facebook.

How much will I have to pay for Premium?

Activision won't say yet, but promises to during the final run-up to MW3's release. Industry analysts are expecting Premium to cost between $6 to $8 a month. Bearing in minds the average COD fanatic buys three DLC map packs ($45) a year, an outlay for the Elite that lies between $36 to $48 per annum might not be that bad a deal. Especially when taking into account the frightening number of hours COD players log online.

What will I get if I pay for the Premium Service?

Again, there's no official word yet. Career stats and groups, however, will almost certainy be free-meaning that competitions(with real world prizes), clan support and community/developer-sourced training tips are likely to hide behind the paywall.

What else do I get with the Premium package?

Seeing you as you'll be paying a monthly/quarterly/whatever fee, Activision is throwing all their MW3 DLC packs into the bargain. There's also word for an A-lister-packed Call of Duty web TV show that subscribers would get first dibs on.

How do I access it?

It's very much a soical media hub, so you can login from almost anything, including your iPhone or smartphones (other, less attractives smartphones are available) from your PC or Mac or, of course, from your PS3.

You give me bad feedback, I won't give you any more infos.

- cheaper mappacks. Well on ps3 you can download a bought mappack 5 times. if you split it with your friends its a lot cheaper
- clan support, thats what gamebattles is for.
- communty/developer training tips, lol i highly doubt they can teach me something new.

Whatever though, a lot of people will still buy it. I just dont see why.

AHAH perfectly said. There is still no feature of Elite that make me want to purchase it. Activision has always been known as geedy bastards and they continue show.
