just login at ELITE and confirm email for 2x XP
New members and old members

i think i can safely say your double xp only applies when you're in a game so don't worry about it going to waste.

Thanks I was waiting for them to fix it I was finally able to validate my email. The system is still screwy though when I hadn't validated it said my profile was 125% complete not that I validated its down to 100% LOL WTF!
