The price of this "early release" copy was 29 times its retail price. Now you guys must be thinking that the person that purchased this was either really rich, or just a huge COD fan. IGN reports that they are searching for the person who purchased this expensive copy of mw3, "To the person who bought this item, please get in touch with IGN's news team. We are very interested in talking to you!"

My opinion on this is that its great that there are some true "die-hard" Cod fan's but spending that kind of money to get a game a couple days to a week or two early isn't really worth it. What do you guys think about this scenario?, do you think that purchasing this copy was worth it?, or a big waste of money?

Wow, who in their right mind would pay that much for a game? You could by like 2 PS3's and 2 xbox 360's for that lol

I'm not defending him, but if someone is extremely rich then he won't bother paying 1800 Dollars for a game. Sometimes our desire for an item overcomes the logical part, that's why we are called Humans.

Stop calling him a loser, because if someone can easily pay 1800 Dollars for a video game, then he must already be making a fortune each day.
