(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); well i was reading around that MW3 is going to be like black ops with the whole hosting and lag again, just wondering for all those people that have the game already ( have to wait 2 more hours) that if its possible to host ur own lobby by lagging the connection like in BO. if so i will be posting a video probably tomorrow on it like i did with force host on BO :angel:

Force host would be nice to know how to do. I've been able to force host all cod game cod4 waw mw2 blops. But I can't seem to get mw3 down. I've been host in mw3 and can confirm lag switches work. But they are dumbed down and responds exactly like in mw2.

It seems to have no logic in how it decides host, and because I've only been host a few times I haven't been able to tell when your host without waiting for the game to start up and use the lag switch to check.

Before the game starts the info about searching ping and games found looks very similar to mw2 but the functionality and the way to manipulate it is at the moment beyond me.

Any help would be very app

Ok at last i figured it out. Just got done playing for the last 4 hrs, I can defiantly force host on ps3 with a lagswitch. now I'm trying to figure out how to recognize if you can keep host after a game has finished and when the scores reset to zero. But that in itself dosent seem to be nothing more than a nussience, since with the current format/system in place it seems to only migrate host after about six games or so, and it's very easy to start a new game as host all over again.

Now just so you all are aware a lagswitch in mw3 dosent work like cod4, waw, blops. It works like it did in mw2. You can't I repeat can't just hit the switch take a head shot and move on, it's also very hard to stop bullets from killing you. If you just hit the switch and shoot you won't even get a hit marker, and when you release it you will be dead. But this is sort of a good thing as if you pulse the switch off n on very fast as you shoot in bursts say quick successions of 2-3 bullets, and move in a left or right continuos motion then it's money n the bank. You may find yourself asking why in the he'll is this sort of a good thing. Well because I've watched/analyzed games from the theater mode and it will only look as if its a very lagy game and it will not be easy to tell if you were cheating. I've watched from lots of perspectives of the other team and if done right nobody will know the wiser.

Sorry I didn't post sooner I ran into a few problems with my method and it wasn't working, but fear not here it is.

1st turn theater mode off (not sure if this is nessasary but since I've turned it off I haven't had any problems)

2nd as soon as you choose your game type. It will say looking for seven more players hit your lagswitch for 4 seconds then turn it off, if you do it for more than 4 seconds it dosent seem to work. 1 of two things will happen, either people will join and you will see matched players for their name (this is good) or the percentage icon for searching for games will start ( if this happens back out and repeat Step 1

That's it very simple. Now this is not a perfect method and may not work for people with less quality Internet, or people not running nat1. It has a 90% working rate for me in domination,search,groundwar. Not sure about any other playlists as I haven't tried

I'm still working on 1. how to know if your host before game starts,2. typically 13sec countdowns means host but not always smh 3. Host migration after game end IE score reset. 4. And finally after score reset did you loose host.

I will continue to report back tomthis post as I figure this ish out.
