That being said, if this game ISN'T a let down, I don't want to miss out. I know it was only released last night but I know a lot of you had it early and even the people who bought it on release could have played it for hours already.
So I was just wondering, what are your opinions of the game? Please don't spew generic bullshit and say that it's better because it's newer, I want your honest opinions. Is the multiplayer fun? has it got a good campaign? How does it fare with the other CODs?

black ops was sh*t
but i did like mw2, not more than cod4 though.

however, mw3 is better than black ops and mw2.. they made noob tubes worse, and evened out the damage for all the guns.
great campaign so far in my opinion.

The game is definitely fasted paced. People will complain that they always run and die 5 seconds later, but its because they are being mindless and are without strategy. The smoothness and whatnot has an odd feel at first, and is unlike any COD game to date. It is very good, and you will be accustomed to it quickly. Same goes for the guns, which so far, every gun felt great to me except for that the shotguns didn't feel or sound powerful like they should, and they aren't powerful. The snipers are okay IMO, and the B 50 Cal is the best sounding, looking, and feeling. As for the gameplay itself, its terrific. Get together with a group of friends with mics, and it'll be a great time. There are next to no glitches, and the servers are somewhat unreliable. But usually, when you are in a game, you will stay in the game with very few lag issues.

We all hate our parents sometimes when we're younger but you'll only ever have 1 mother, remember that.

Also, it's only a game You'd be bored of it within a few weeks/months anyway :p

If it's anywhere near COD4 then I'll be getting it =D.

[my honest opinion] i have mw1,w@w,mw2,black ops , mw3 also i have bfbc2 and bf3. the reason i mention these because if you felt mw2 and b.o were let downs then imo you will feel the same way about mw3 and maybe you should try those game to not feel let down.
Mw3 does look like mw2 but feels like mw1. there is still mayor problems with match making and its been 4 years of the same shit you would think they would figure out how to fix this problem , but they haven't .
It's the same game just dressed differently. POINT BLANK you don't feel as your playing a NEW game , it just feels like the same ol thing

Honestly, best CoD too date, I got mw3 last night and I am so impressed it feels like cod4 and mw2 together, with a tiny bit of b.o, i loved cod4 and after 2years of mw2 i was happy iw made a new game... Mw2 was good untill some douche bag thought it would be sweet too put danger close and oma on with noobtubes, the noobtube damage was decreased alot, there is pretty much no one using them. The titles and emblems are fricking awesome too! And honestly i really don't have words too explain how the campaign is I finished it last night and holy shit it was amazing! All in all best choice ive ever made on buying mw3
