He got reset all the way to level 1 but on the leader board he was still his old rank but it didn't change back and eventually the leader board changed to his current level(1). So i guess be careful when rage quitting lol.

Power outage, loss of Internet service, PS3 freeze...
All of these can happen during game play.

I find it very difficult to believe there would be a complete reset built into the game stats to prevent rage quitting.

MW2 had a similar thing happen when the game would freeze and had to be forced shut down.
The stats would come back within 24 hrs.

i was playing yesterday on outpost (my favorite map) and my game froze. i was afraid to turn it off because it would reset me but it didn't

this doesnt happen. atleast not on ps3. i'm level 63, ive signed out of a couple matches and nothing happened

well maybe its just a glitch, cuz like other people mentioned, this would be a stupid feature due to the many reasons that you would want to turn off your system besides rage quitting.

lmfao ummm im lvl 66 ps3 n signout anytime it sucks im into a started game.. ( cuz 99% of the time ur losing..) this doesnt happen. ppl rage all the time on my friends list no one reset lol seems like a load of crap 2 me? but hey u never no thanks for the heads up...
