I've actually done it once and I can't seem to figure out. I press R2 but all I do is walk around with it...hahaha! I know this is a quick answer but can someone explain on how to make the Recon Drone fly in the air? Thank you!!!

Hit R1 to launch it while it's in your hand. R2 to ascend L2 to descend Joystick to control.

Well whatever button you use to fire (if you're not using default button scheme) I've been using recon drone since it's pretty nice xp and due to the fact that I want the challenge

its L2 and R2 one makes it go up the other makes it go down its a stupid kill streak lol

R1 = Launch! Then L2 and R2 to descend and ascend. This is actually a good Kill Streak because you can alert your teammates where the opponents are by tagging and telling. Now here's the kicker and lots of people don't know yet. If there is a Attack Helicopter out, if you have Recon Drone = Launch it!!! Because you are now going to assist the Attack Helicopter on where to shoot and you will receive XP for all the kills!!! I hope this helps.
