From what I see based off of stats, Scar L has better fire rate and range, while UMP has better damage and mobility. I didn't include accuracy because to me, the UMP has better accuracy until they get very far away, this is just from my personal experience.

But yeah, I wanna hear you guys opinions on this.

Scar L is an AR... That's why it has better range. UMP is an smg therefore better CQC.

I usued the ump for like the first 40 something levels (for the gold camo) now I'm using the p90.

Out of the two, I prefer the UMP but only if it has rapid fire too. SCAR-L is a great gun no matter what attachments so it's overall the more superior

Personally though, I think P90 with extended mags and rapid fire is the best combination in the game...I've already got gold with that gun. It's REALLY good. You hardly have to ever reload at all

both pretty good. I'm using both right now till I figure out the maps. once I get comfortable then i'm going to make that switch to an other weapon. Still think Scar has the edge

Do you think IW leaned toward a certain group of guns? Like, are SMG's better than AR's this year? Or did they make everything equal?

I like both guns, but I have a problems with each

Scar-L: If enemy is in close - medium range I hardly ever get the kill. I've also noticed that it takes longer to look down the sights the Scar-L then the UMP. Plus the little bit of damage that the Scar-L lacks makes a difference if you're in a shootout.

UMP45: If enemy is far, it's almost impossible to get the kill unless I single shot them dead, which is hard to do on a moving target at long range.

Keep in mind that I don't camp. I basically run S&. I'm trying to figure out which gun is better for that.
