Can I use one account for multiple platforms?
You can link one account per platform to your Call of Duty ELITE account. However, similar to DLC today, your Call of Duty ELITE Premium membership is platform-specific. If you play on multiple platforms and want all the premium features and content you will need to purchase Call of Duty ELITE for each.

Sooo I have only xbox, if I linked someone's PSN account to my cod elite, do you think they will have access to the free maps and other shit?

Go ahead, speculate.

Lol you shouldn't. I'm pretty sure it means that Elite is active on the XBOX Live account or PSN account not the Elite website account. Hence, the activated account gets the DLCs (costing £35), so if both XBOX and PS3 was to get the DLCs, both accounts must buy Elite (£35 each, £70 in total).

Can I use one account for multiple platforms?
- You can link one account per platform to your Call of Duty ELITE account.
Means, you can have 3 platforms (XBOX, PS3, PC) on one Elite account (Website)

- If you play on multiple platforms and want all the premium features and content you will need to purchase Call of Duty ELITE for each.
Means, you have to purchase the Elite service on each platform to get the DLCs

No one can really try the DLC aspect of it yet as no DLCs are available yet. You can Link more then one account is true.
