Honestly, I haven't really noticed a difference in connection/lag when I do that. It's the same for me either way, I just beast.

Well if you already have a great internet connection and the servers arent lagging then you really wont see much difference but it will always give you that millisecond of a quicker shot detection than a guy with recording on

But it doesn't use network to record, its stored locally until you save it to your vault.
