This thread is to basically settle the dispute over the best bolt action sniper rifle. The MSR and the infamous L118A
By which is better, I mean which looks better, which feels better (as a sniper), and which works best for you. Feel free to leave a comment saying why.

Love the L118A, I'll come back when I get the MSR.

I first used the MSR in Private Match but now I unlocked it about 10 levels ago. I love the way the L118A looks. It has that power sniper rifle "one shot kill" kind of look to it with the long barrel and everything but it gives me more hit markers than the MSR. I don't know if it's just me but I've been playing FFA's back and forth switching between the two and I can't figure it out.

i love the MSR becuz it 1 hit people more then the other one.. thats my opinion..i get alot of hitmarkers with the l118a

I just love the look and feel of the MSR. It also sounds better than the L118A. The L118A just scopes it weird for me and looks pretty ugly compared to the MSR. And if someone is using it on your team and you hear it, it sounds awful. MSR all the way. MSR feels like a sniper, the L11 is like a toy IMO lol.

Ouch. lol 5 to 7 MSR. Maybe I never seen somebody other than myself using it because most people haven't unlocked it yet?

Got both to 31, I definitely preferred the MSR over the L118A. I did seem to get more hit markers with the MSR though.

I'm not sure what scoping problems other people are having, I had no issues with either gun. L118A reminds me of the AWP from Counterstrike, but it looks too toylike in MW3. Also, MSR reminds me of the Intervention. Other than that, they're pretty much equal.

Both to 31?! Nice! I can't even go 1:1 in a game sniping lol
