Your level is just corrupted. Its quite common actually, it just reverts back to your previous rank. I've not had this myself though.

Again, I've not had this happen to me so I don't know if you will revert back to your rank before the corruption. However, I doubt you will go back.

Have you played a game since you turned your xbox on again? Playing a game and ranking up may update and contact the server.

yes i played ranked up to lv 76.. turned off my xbox and was still lv 76...
