(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Why does the majority only quickscope with bolt action sniper rifles, is there a reason behind this?

Just wondering because every MW3 quickscope video I have seen so far have all been with the L118A

I'm almost positive it's because either:

1. They are more 1337 since it's kind of like if you don't hit the shot, you're dead. No rapid n00b spraying.

2. They're typically more accurate. AS50's accuracy is horrible for a sniper, but that might just be because it doesn't zoom as much as the others.

3. They generally look cooler, and pulling the bolt back looks pretty cool IMO.

Yeah it does but still in MW2 a lot of people used the 50 cal over the intervention. That's not the case in MW3.
I do like hearing the bolt getting pulled back though and feel more powerful behind a bolt action also. It just seems like it would be easier to use a semi auto so I was wondering why people didn't

Who used the Barret over the Intervention...?

Yes. It would be easier to use. That's the point.

You don't see everyone using Steady Aim because it makes it easier.

Basically, people like to handicap themselves, so if they do bad, they can't be blamed, and if they do well, they look like they're better than all the other quickscopers

A lot of MW2 quick scope videos were using the barret. I would say almost 50% of snipers used the 50 cal. I understand what you guys are saying though

bolt action snipers have greater damage, so you're more likely to get a one hit kill..

Becuase the only way to snip is to QS and the barrett is LESS mobil than a bolt now if you look so you either have high damage and slow movement or a bolt action and high movement. Plus its impossible to hardscope so you have to run around.

I like the Barret .50cal more, and thats not a bolt action rifle. But I like the MSR too, not as much but its still good.
