A few days ago, Infinity Ward released a patch for consoles that addressed several issues. The main fix for the PS3 was the ‘Out of Memory 14′ errors. While this problem might have been ironed out, there are still a number of issues, mainly with lag, hit notification, and crashes.

Fans have been hitting up the Official MW3 Forums and developers’ Twitter accounts to get answers on whether Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games are fixing these issues. Luckily for PS3 users, Glen Schofield has acknowledged the PS3 issues.

Activision customer support a step further suggested one fix for the PS3 crashing issue; Mikey explained ”you can try clearing your game data utility and let the game reinstall to your console again. See if that makes a difference.”

I'm glad they are on top of it. They do need to fix the voice chat, but please don't patch the ability to hear your opponent die and raging!! hahaha...I LOVE THAT!!! I agree on the lag and the crashes but more importantly they need to fix the DE-RANKING situation that's plagued a lot of PS3 users!!! My buddy had it happen to him twice already and I'm always freaking out when a game crashes or we lose connection because I don't want to be De-ranked.

Yeah, I have been so pissed off with all this lag stuff going on in game that it makes the game no fun. I shoot a guy thinking that I killed him and all of a sudden i'm dead. So I watch the kill cam and it turns out that he shot me first... its so fked!
