IMO, Cod4 is the first and best MW as it has the best maps and just plays better.
MW3 is a good game but it's got nothing on Cod4.

I think the game gunplay in MW3 is fine but the maps and overcomplicated killstreaks ruin it a little. A simple 3,5,7 killstreak was great. Maybe they could've added 2-3 more but it's just stupid now.

Also, the one good thing about black ops was it's stats system, why not include it in MW3?
I realise they wanted to make elite but now i have to pretty much go out the game to see the same stats i could easily see on black ops.

without a doubt COD4....
mw2 was $hit, and mw3 is unplayable....
we wont even mention w@w and black ops.....
after cod4, i was really hoping for big things, but they never really improved the game.... mw3 is just mw2 with new maps

I think since then they've tried to improve what was perfect about the game and they've tried too hard in making it better. MW2 for me was a let down in comparison, it lacked the fun CoD4 gave me. I mean MW3 to me is what MW2 should of been, you can hate all you want on that but it's not an improvement from CoD4, I mean the single player aspects are but online it's poor in comparison.

They've taken what was good about cod4 and got rid of it.
Cod4 was good because it was simple and had the best maps.

Now its just killstreak spamming on shitty maps.
The way the game plays is fine though. Guns do a good amount of damage and smgs are actually smgs.

I dislike the killstreaks, I mean I preferred 3,5,7. It was balanced and not cluttered full of random mini helicopters tagging you and Wall-E's going round the map. I mean really? Why implement things that would kill probably everyone's favourite CoD. I never understood that.

The maps were spot on and now they are just a clusterfu*k of objects, corners, it's like a maze on some maps.

I'm really bias towards CoD4 because it's the only Call Of Duty so far that has kept me wanting to play it constantly, I play MW3 for what 3 hours and turn it off because I get bored of it.

i would prefer to spend £30 on a load of new maps for COD4.....

Same here, it's a shame they only released one map pack for it and those maps were great too. Obviously they know we love the COD4 maps because they always seem to bring them back on newer call of duty titles.

Was it me or did MW3 have W@W feeling maps? If they took little things from each game and combined them they'd have a ****ing perfect CoD.

The mw3 maps have too much going on.
There are too many flanking routes, camping spots and objects in them.
Plus, those killstreaks promote camping.
People actually run around in cod4 as they arent scared of losing a killstreak when they get 3-4 kills in a row

Cod4 is my favorite mw game because it was simply and the maps were great but my favorite cod game is waw. I like the guns and the maps. I also liked that is was about world war 2. I think all cod games should be world war 1 or world war 2
