I personally think they could be done better, and since the game is still buggy, you miss a lot of bashing with it and end up getting knifed, you also can get shot in through your shoes while ducking.

The new element of adding cracks to the shield also puts people who use riot shields at a disadvantage.

I was kinda hoping that they would let you shoot from the side of a riot shield, but I think it would be op in someway...

But I think when the knives are fixed (if it does get fixed) riot shield would be more powerful, but as of right now they are just used as a support, and barely get a positive KD or a 2KD depending on your team.

I find this combination best imo:

Secondary: Any duals
Tactical: C4
Perk 1: Sleight of hand pro
Perk 2: Hard line pro
Perk 3: Steady aim
Support package.

Any other good ideas?

All I ever use em for. Friends and I use it mostly to get a full team together and just charge the enemy or entrap our flag by creating a circle or a barrier around it while having one of us sitting in a corner waiting to shoot whoever comes out.

Yeah I use riot shields in Search for trolling, making the other team rage, but when I'm bored I use it in domination, and I use recon drone with hardline pro for about 20-40 assists.

I use riot shield a lot. I have a 1.4 kd and a 1.2 win loss. does that really make me bad if i use the shield?? dumbass..

Definately go with stun grenades and quickdraw PRO(throw equipment faster). Even though right now they WILL stun you if you block it with your shield(WHICH NEEDS TO BE FIXED!!!)

If someone comes at me with a riot shield they are gonna get raped with akimbo fmgs, dont normally use them but if you run at me with a riot shield the fmgs take you down no problem.

dont really think riot shield = you suck


just entertaining to use or if you just want to have a casual 'who cares' game or two.

keep shields in halo. just my opinion.
